I received a flyer in our local newspaper for a visit to a exhibition "POP ART" 11-13 Nov 2016
It was being held at Hautapu Community Hall a few Kms from our home
I decided to visit.
The art, ceramics and some knitted objects were stunning.
It was interesting and I purchased a book on sale "Wandering Under Big Skies" by Charlotte Giblin
I paged through the book and wow! what lovely photos of her art
I asked her if I may do some thread painting pieces using her art.
Charlotte gave her consent and so I've made my 1st piece

I have used a technique I used at a w/shop we did in April at our Textile Group
gleaned from the book Layer, Paint, Stitch by Wendy Dolan
